What can you expect?
Our school holiday program includes events, activities or excursions. Some are in the local neighbourhoods of CITY OF MELBOURNE and others activities get us out and about exploring Melbourne and beyond.
Most of the activities are planned based on your feedback, interest and also encourage young people to lead, design, create activities that mean fun or chance to see and do different things or learn different and new skills. Whatever we do together we are always have fun and it is safe and positive.
Some of the drum holiday program activities have included visits to Fun Fields, the Geelong Adventure Park, Carlton Estate Family Fun Days or visits to the beach or country. We have also done rock climbing, prepared Ramadan feasts, had FIFA tournaments, go-karting, lazer tag and camps!. We try to mix it up and keep it interesting!

Why do you need to complete a registration form?
The drum registration form should have all the details you need, and also for your parent, guardian or carer. The form outlines what the activities are, including ours and yours responsibilities. We also need emergency contact details, we usually don’t need them, but just in case we need to contact your parent, guardian or carer in case of an emergency. It is also useful to know – and if we don’t ask – we don’t know about any spiritual, health and wellbeing needs you may have.
If you are under 18 the registration form needs to be signed by your parent, carer or guardian to complete registration form.
If you are over 18 you can sign this for yourself but we’ll still need some emergency contact details.
We absolutely keep your information confidential and we respect your privacy.
If you want to be super organised and bring the registration form on your first visit to the program click here. Otherwise, we can provide a paper copy when you attend the program.
Can we help you attend?
If you are new to CITY OF MELBOURNE and you want (or you know someone) who might need some encouragement or support to attend, just give us a holla (social media, email, call reception) and one of the drum’s friendly team members can help this happen.
How do I get there?
Our registration form will tell you where our activity is being held. Or if we are leaving Carlton/North Melbourne where you can meet us to head off on our adventure.

We advertise our holiday program online at least one week before the school holidays so you can plan what you are going to do!
You can also grab a printed copy from our office at 100 Drummond Street, or where we deliver or youth service programs and activities or we can email you one.
